Episode 10 Preview - Close Your Eyes

Though she couldn't remember why we chose it, Diana rejoins the show to discuss a song dear to both of our hearts: Jump, Little Children's "Close Your Eyes".

Homework time.  To stay up with the conversation, listen to the song before Wednesday.  You can pick it up on iTunesAmazon Music (free with Prime), or Google Play.

No official video (a great performance movie, but better to hear that after you've checked out the studio version) so I had to resort to some random uploaded version on YouTube.  What's the legality of that stuff anyway? The picture is the cover to their album, Vertigo, which does not actually feature "Close Your Eyes".

And, for the readers among us, the lyrics!

"Close Your Eyes"

Tell me you had bad dreams last night
'Cause you were rolling in your sleep
Tell me you hate those bright street lights
Sometimes the shadows give you the creeps

Please, close your eyes
Please, if you don't want to say
Please, close your eyes
Please, what keeps you awake

Tell me the air up here's too thin
You can't fell the wind when it moves
Tell me the stars are made of tin
And that they're banging on the roof

Please, close your eyes
Please, if you don't want to say
Please, close your eyes
Please, what keeps you awake

The sun will rise
And keep your mind at ease
So close your eyes

Please, close your eyes
Please, if you don't want to say
Please, close your eyes

Please, what keeps you awake

So listen, listen, read the lyrics, and join us on Wednesday for the latest episode and discussion!
